Job Description
The Web Specialist will manage multiple projects simultaneously and show proactive leadership in meeting specified goals and deadlines designed to improve the effectiveness of Foundation projects and communications. The Web Specialist will also be skilled in analyzing the effectiveness of communications and campaigns, seek opportunities to enhance the donor experience across mediums and be open to supporting additional digital marketing tools as needed.
Experience
- One to five years of professional experience managing web and/or digital campaigns using a content management system (CMS)
- Proven experience creating content for web
- Experience applying web design and web marketing principles
- Experience using web analytics tools. Adobe analytics experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communications skills
- Experience in marketing or communications, preferably in fundraising or healthcare
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and/or JavaScript
- Experience working with bulk email campaigns, marketing automation tools, and managing content
- Strong storytelling and graphic design skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification or work experience

Job Responsibilities
- Designing, creating, and maintaining websites, forms, intranet content, and other web-based content as assigned.
- Ensuring that all communications adhere to Children’s branding guidelines and provide an engaging and effective donor experience.
- Providing stakeholders with consultation regarding how best to deploy digital strategies.
- Collaborating with peers and stakeholders to complete responsibilities and assignments
- Defining basic project scopes and coordinating projects and with minimal oversight.
- Creating analytics reports, evaluating outcomes of web efforts, and making recommendations in collaboration with the team.
- Occasionally providing content support and coordination as needed for other team members.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
