The Web Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the technical execution, system administration, privacy compliance, and ongoing optimization of digital platforms. What you'll be doing:

Website Speed Monitoring & Optimization

  • Monitors web page design and technical performance specifications, assisting in the optimization of digital assets and underlying code to support an aggressive average load time goal of less than 6 seconds.
  • Assists in troubleshooting spikes in website average load time speed and coordinates with cross-functional teams to resolve them.

Cross-Functional Coordination and Collaboration

  • Assists in executing technical aspects of maintenance, updates, campaigns, and product launches to ensure tasks are completed within the set timeframe with exceptional quality output.
  • Participates in technical meetings, project meetings, and retrospectives to raise challenges and support future changes.

Business Validation & Quality Assurance

  • Supports technical business validation activities for newly launched functions and features, ensuring they meet defined business and technical requirements.
  • Conducts comprehensive routine technical audits and QA processes to ensure the website is functioning optimally across all technical components and user flows.

Incident Management & Uptime

  • Supports the primary operational point of contact during critical site outages, assisting with triage, rapid response protocols, and post-mortem data collection.
  • Assists in troubleshooting activities during launch events, helping to identify probable causes and implementing resolutions to technical bugs.

Privacy, Compliance & System Administration

  • Assists legal and security teams in executing the technical requirements for data privacy regulations.
  • Helps manage user access and permissions for Widen and other relevant platforms, ensuring system security and integrity.

Project Management

  • Executes technical tasks for maintenance, updates, campaigns, and product launches mapped out by senior operations team members.
  • Helps identify technical risks in small-scale tasks and applies mitigation measures to ensure project success.

Process Improvement

  • Identifies efficiency issues and supports the implementation of technical tools or workarounds to improve turnaround times for various website operations tasks.
  • Supports technical roadmap initiatives that yield efficiency gains for the business.

Documentation

  • Maintains the documentation of internal technical processes, updating identified gaps to ensure scalable technical process flows.
  • Updates documentation timely and makes sure that it is housed in the appropriate knowledge base site.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS.
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with an ability to develop and troubleshoot web components.
  • At least one (1) year of targeted relevant experience.
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems and Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Experience participating in incident resolution, project execution, and process automation.

Location: The Web Operations Analyst position is a remote working position for Balsam International Unlimited Philippine ROHQ in Manila. Team members in the Philippines are located within Metro Manila, Bataan, Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Pampanga, Rizal, and Tarlac areas only.

Our must-haves:

  • Must attend occasional in-person meetings.
  • Must have a fast, reliable DSL, Fiber, or Broadband connection (not mobile or broadband stick) as the primary internet connection with a minimum actual speed of 50MBPS.

Note: An online assessment will also be part of the recruitment process.

Status: This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits.

Hardware Provision: Company-issued Laptop will be provided on your first day.
