Web Development Manager

The Web Development Manager will develop, test and maintain high-quality user interfaces using modern front-end technologies. The role is responsible for some design background and translating UI/UX designs into code, producing visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Work with the creative and content teams, product and technology teams to bring creative experiences to life online. 
• Optimize websites for different breakpoints using responsive design. 
• Ensure technical feasibility of UX/UI designs.
• Ensure sites function across different browsers. 
• Run tests to ensure optimal site performance and speed as well as ensuring all functionality is working appropriately. 
• Responsible for version control:  documenting controls, revisions, and source information.  
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of front-end web development experience
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience
• Experience working with visual studio code
• Experience working with Git
• Experience using Figma, Adobe XD and other Adobe Creative Suite applications
• Ability to test and debug websites
• Experience working with Bootstrap
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring appropriate applications adhere to them

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)
