Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Web Developer to join our Fleethub platform team. In this role, you will develop and maintain web applications that support core business processes and integrate closely with AWS‑hosted backend services.
You will work under the guidance of a Senior Web Developer and collaborate closely with AWS Application Developers and the Technical Lead / Scrum Master in a modern Agile delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
Frontend Development
- Develop and maintain web applications using React 18.x
- Build reusable UI components using Material-UI
- Implement forms and validations using react-hook-form
- Work on dashboards and data visualization using Chart.js
Integration & APIs
- Integrate frontend with backend services via REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and data formats such as JSON and XML
- Handle API responses, error states, and data rendering
Testing & Quality
- Write unit tests using Jest
- Follow coding standards and best practices
- Fix bugs and improve existing features
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with Senior Developers, backend teams, and product teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective)
- Support CI/CD and deployment processes
Operational Support
- Assist in production issue debugging and resolution
- Maintain application performance and stability
- Follow coding standards, security guidelines, and documentation practices
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6-9 years of frontend/web development experience
- Working knowledge of:
- React/Vue/Angular or similar
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Material-UI
- Familiarity with:
- react-hook-form
- Chart.js
- ExcelJS (basic usage)
- Understanding of REST APIs and frontend integration
- Basic knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest)
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Node.js ecosystem (build tools, package management)
- Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new frontend technologies

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline
- 3+ years of Java development experience
- Working knowledge of Java 8+ and frameworks such as Spring, Jakarta EE, or Quarkus
- Exposure to frontend frameworks like ReactJS, Vue, Angular, or similar
- Understanding of REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON, XML, and integration concepts
- Familiarity with microservices architectures
- Experience working with CI/CD tools and Git‑based workflows
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
