Job Description
The web development team inside the Bucharest QC Tech Department works on online services with a focus on studio and QC teams needs. Our mission is to promote efficiency and automation in QC via our efficient, fast, reliable, and secure web applications. We work in an Agile and service-oriented mindset within a team composed of Web Developers, Product Owners, UI/UX Designers, Software Testers, and Technical Architects.
As a Web Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our web applications. Your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain high-quality code, ensuring the best possible user experience for our customers. This well-rounded role will be instrumental in maintaining the performance and reliability of our web applications.
Your main mission:
- Write, optimize, and maintain the code for our web applications, adhering to coding standards and best practices to deliver efficient, secure, and user-friendly solutions.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Create website layouts based on UI/UX mockups by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Tackle server-related issues, perform configurations, and identify and implement solutions to enhance the performance and reliability of our applications.
- Utilize Kubernetes to orchestrate containerized applications, ensuring scalability and resilience within our infrastructure.
- Manage time effectively establishing responsible deadlines and personal work plans
- Propose ideas of improvement of the applications, procedures and technologies used
- Debug and correct issues found by testers or peers in a very efficient way
- Offer good technical solutions in your area of expertise
Qualifications
The professional value you bring:
- Proven experience as a Web Developer with strong focus on Laravel and Vue.js
- Advanced Kubernetes knowledge and experience in managing containerized applications.
- Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
- Advanced knowledge of a versioning control system (Gitlab, Github etc..)
- Use front-end CSS libraries effectively (Bootstrap or similar)
- Write clean, efficient, object-oriented PHP code
- Able to adapt, optimize and keep the code updated based on new requirements
- Understand, write and optimize complex MySQL/MSSQL queries
- Deep knowledge of server management, configuration, and problem-solving (either one of: Iis server, Xampp)
