Position Overview:
The Web Developer will design and build a website that integrates with our current store, with the long-term goal of establishing a fully independent e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in website development, e-commerce, and SEO to drive traffic and enhance the customer journey. This role requires a proactive individual who can balance immediate integration needs with future development goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Development and Integration:
• Design a user-friendly website that reflects the brand, focusing on a clean, engaging layout that encourages browsing and purchases.
• Integrate the current store onto the website, allowing for easy product updates and inventory management.
• Implement a customer review feature to build trust and provide social proof, encouraging feedback on products.
• CRM Integration
SEO and Content Optimization:
• Develop SEO strategies for product descriptions, meta tags, and headers to increase search engine visibility and drive organic traffic.
• Collaborate with the founder on content ideas and optimize on-page elements to align with trending keywords in wrestling and apparel.
• Set up Google Analytics and tracking tools to monitor user behavior, traffic sources, and conversion rates.
E-commerce Transition Planning:
• Plan the roadmap for transitioning to a fully independent e-commerce platform, including setting up payment processing, checkout, and shipping options.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure a smooth user experience across desktop and mobile.
• Prepare for future growth by building a scalable website architecture that can handle additional features as the business expands.
