POSITION: Contract Web Developer
We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing a dynamic company website, ensuring optimal performance, user experience, and security. You will work closely with marketing and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
This a contract position with an expected duration of 2 months.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build a responsive, scalable, and high-performance website.
- Implement user interface (UI) designs and create user experiences (UX) that are both intuitive and functional.
- Create websites and interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices, and incorporate data from back-end databases and services
- Create well-designed and tested code using best practices for web development, including for responsive design and mobile display
- Work with designers to ensure the visual elements are implemented accurately.
- Conduct unit tests, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality code.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role.
- Experience with front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Proficiency in at least one back-end language (Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby, etc.).
- Has experience in WordPress and other content management systems
- Has experience in CMS migration or willing to learn (Webflow to WordPress)
- Strong understanding of web development principles, including web performance, accessibility, and SEO.
COMPENSATION AND LOCATION
This a remote contract position with a 2 month duration. The individual in this role will be partnering with our team located in Dallas. 20-25 hours/per week are anticipated. A competitive project rate will be offered.
