Web Designer I

Job Description:

The Web Designer I creates the design and layout of client websites and/or web pages. Works with clients to understand objectives and ensure their vision informs new website builds. Provides support for existing managed websites, creating and maintaining documentation of website changes and serving as a point of escalation for support

What you will do to contribute to the company's success

• Provides project management support for a single project or for multiple standard / routine projects.
• With guidance, performs basic project management duties, including:
  • Needs assessment,
  • Initial scoping and planning,
  • Cost estimation and budgeting,
  • Project planning, milestone development and scheduling,
  • Team facilitation,
  • Risk management,
  • Quality assurance,
  • Close out,
  • Documentation and reporting,
  • Post-project evaluation.
• Establishes and maintains effective relationships with relevant stakeholders, including product owners and project management colleagues.
• Gains strong understanding of Agile management practices and techniques, including those associated with team facilitation, cross-team coordination, backlog management and self-organization.

Qualifications

• Up to two years’ experience
• AA or BA/BS Degree
• Proficient with WordPress and other page builders (i.e., Divi and Elementor.) Required to sit, use hands, talk and hear.
• May be required to lift up to ten pounds.
• Required to use close and color vision and to adjust focus
