Project Position: Web Content Specialist

Project Summary:

The Digital and Web Content team is looking for an innovative and analytical thinker to provide a range of digital support, web content management and communications tasks. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams from content ideation to production. You will have a user-centric approach that ensures crafted content is aligned with user journeys and overall user experience. The position will also need consistent collaboration with the SEO specialists to optimize content for search engines and identifying current gaps in processes that may need digital content governance to maintain continuous quality improvements that ensure we consistently create an impactful digital experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of cohesive plans for content creation, distribution, and optimization.
• Advise on user experience and information architecture for the website including site structure, layout, and content schema.
• Support and execute web content and governance plans.
• Create, publish, and manage web content using Drupal 9.
• Serve as a contact for our clients - prioritizing, tracking, and reporting on tasks assigned and assisting with the implementation.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure content updates are free from errors and compliant with accessibility mandates.
• Coordinating with UX designers to align content with the overall design and functionality of digital interfaces.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, user experience experts, and clients to support the revision of existing pages and the creation of new web content.
• Ensure content is accessible and engaging across different platforms.
• Be a creative thinker and problem solver.
• Use analytics tools to track content metrics and make data driven decisions.
• Other website administration tasks as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 3-to-5-year experience in web content strategy and content creation.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Communications/Marketing or other Human Services or equivalent experience in related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with Drupal platform management, content development - experience with other systems is a bonus (WordPress, SharePoint)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience leading new site development and collaborating with clients to plan and implement new web projects.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Site Improve, and best practices for usability.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
• Ability to work independently, seek help as needed and contribute to team and company culture.
• Ability to work remotely.

Preferred Skills

• Proficient in content management systems (such as Drupal, WordPress or other)
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office in a collaborative manner - including Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$57,737.00 - $98,153.00
