As a leader in the industry, we are looking for a talented Web Architect to join our growing team.
The Web Architect will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable and secure web applications that meet business requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and designers, to create exceptional user experiences and drive the technical direction of our web platforms.
Responsibilities- Lead the design and architecture of web applications that align with Sinch's business goals and user needs.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architect web solutions that are efficient and scalable.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of user interfaces designed by the UI/UX team, providing guidelines for best practices in web development.
- Establish coding standards and best practices for the development team to follow.
- Monitor web application performance, debugging issues, and ensuring high availability and security.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development, evaluating new tools and platforms for potential adoption.
- Mentor and support development teams by providing guidance on architecture and coding practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in web application architecture and development.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Java, etc.).
- Experience with web application frameworks and libraries (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
- Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems creatively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of security best practices in web development.
- Experience in leading web development projects from inception to deployment.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in mentoring junior developers.
