We are seeking a mid-level developers to join our team in developing a suite of custom web front-end and back-end applications. Our system is deployed for Internet and mobile use, making security and vulnerability mitigation critical. This position requires the ability to work in a remote environment and collaborate effectively under the direction of senior architects. The role includes periodic travel within the United States for quarterly team meetings.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and maintain custom web applications for front-end and back-end systems.
  • Collaborate closely with senior architects to ensure development aligns with system design requirements.
  • Ensure application vulnerabilities are minimized for Internet/Mobile deployment.
  • Utilize DevOps principles to support continuous integration and deployment workflows.
  • Contribute to API development and integration efforts.
  • Participate in system availability engineering and implement best practices for secure communication (HTTPS/TLS, PKI).

  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform

  • JavaScript Frameworks:
  • React
  • Svelte
  • Web Technologies:
  • Service Workers
  • Progressive Web Applications (PWA) for Android and iOS
  • Databases: SQL (MySQL syntax)

  • Security: HTTPS/TLS, PKI, OAuth
  • System Availability Engineering
  • TS/SCI clearances required

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Previous DevOps experience.
  • Strong understanding of application security best practices.

 

Work Environment:

  •  Fully remote with required quarterly travel for team meetings within the U.S.

The annual base pay for this position is: $128,099.00 - $192,149.00
