Web Analytics Specialist

As our Web Analytics Specialist you will help improve and maintain our web analytics; you’ll work on the technical setup, governance and optimisation, supporting our Marketing Ops Lead and working with our Web Development team to help build reports and dashboards. In collaboration with these teams, you will ensure consistency and accuracy in how we measure traffic and behaviour on our website. The overarching goal is to deliver data-driven insights that empower our marketing campaigns and website optimisation efforts. 

Join our newly established Marketing Delivery Centre based in Chennai, India. You’ll report to the Head of Marketing Delivery Centre (MDC) and be part of the Brand, Marketing and External relations team.

Key responsibilities:  

• Support our global Marketing Ops Lead in systematizing and improving our web analytics and help ensure that we have the right technical setup of our analytics systems for accurate data. 

• Responsible for data collection and working with the Marketing Ops Lead to build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to Marketing Managers and the team responsible for strategic web development. 

• Guide and maintain governance policies for analytics tools, setup, and reporting to ensure data integrity and consistency. 

• Interface with marketing managers and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure analytics solutions meet those needs. 

Qualifications

For this role, we believe a good starting point is: 

• 2+ years' experience in a similar role, working with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for large a website. We use Piwik Pro, familiarity with this system is ideal, but not a requirement.

• Good understanding of data collection best practices and ability to structure data – in dashboards and reports – with actionable insights for various audiences. 

• Education in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field.

• It’s a plus if you have previous experience with other digital disciplines such as e-mail marketing, automation or webinars. 

Additional Information
