SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES
It is the responsibility of the Wealth Planning Advisor to prepare comprehensive financial plans, including data gathering, analyzing financial conditions, and developing recommendations for private wealth clients. It is also important for the Wealth Planning advisor to help grow and retain our client base.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Wealth Planner Advisor works with clients to develop tailored strategies that will help them achieve their unique financial goals. Responsibilities include the following:
- Participate in face-to-face client discussions individually and with other private wealth team members to develop strong client relationships. Through these discussions help clients determine their financial goals. Use these meetings to educate clients about our asset management and other bank services with a goal to increase revenue.
- Ability to analyze client financial information and enter appropriate data into the eMoney software to produce client financial plans.

COMPETENCIES
The Wealth Planning Advisor must have strong knowledge in the areas of financial planning, asset allocation, investment strategies and risk management through insurance.
Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Experience: 5+ Years of client facing financial planning experience required
- Certifications/Specific Knowledge: Certified Financial Planner, Certified Professional Accountant, Certified Tax Attorney
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES
Required annual compliance training; New Employee Orientation; Continued Education Courses as required by professional designations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk. This position requires the ability to drive a vehicle to and from other locations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is in a private office. This individual will have the ability to work from home on occasion. Must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. Must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered.

Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
