Job Description:
The Asset Movement Associate of Wealth Operations is a full-time position with Central Trust Company to assist in the day-to-day security processing of the Wealth Operations team. The ideal candidate for this position will perform a wide range of operational support duties and will interact with other Central Trust Company personnel to efficiently support the asset movement area of the operations department. The position will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Duties:
• Process account transfers including but not limited to cost basis updates, tracking and research.
• Process money market transactions including trades, balancing and reconciliation.
• Process mutual fund, stock and bond transactions including trade settlement, dividend posting, balancing, reconciliation and exception posting.
• Process income posting for mutual fund, stock and bond positions, and unique assets.
• Process mutual fund, stock and bond set up and pricing.
• Maintain and update unique assets held in department vault.
• Assist Maintenance team in processing including but not limited to new and closed accounts, maintenance and fees
Preferred Qualifications
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED Certificate required, experience in finance, business or accounting preferred.
• Willingness to grow within the department such as cross training other desks and duties.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, Trust Company locations and holding company employees.
• Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail required
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently.
