The Wealth Management Sales Development Specialist is responsible for identifying, contacting, and qualifying B2B2C that result in sales. The specialist is responsible for lead development, cultivation and sales conversions. Must work cross functionally with sales, marketing, account specialist and student support teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Generate qualified B2B2C sales leads through outbound calls, emails, webinars, and conferences.
Prepare presentations and host live webinars and in-person tradeshow events, CFP Education and CFFP Professional Designations.
Administer CRM tracking by uploading leads, updating lead lifecycle stages, and accurately attributing campaign sources to sales opportunities.
Conduct high-volume outbound calls to lead lists, consistently following up to secure enrollment commitments in private or ondemand classes.
Conduct private client cohort kick-off calls to ensure student success in private classes.
Acquire, compile, and format inquiry data lists into standardized templates for CRM processing and mass emails.
Design and schedule targeted mass email outreach using sales engagement platforms to promote webinar registrations and distribute follow-up collateral.
Work closely with Marketing to ensure appropriate collateral is used for webinars, mass emails, and trade show visits.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure client initiatives are supported throughout the sales process.
Maintain a current working knowledge of Wealth Management products and college policies, private client enrollment portals and pricing.
Provide wealth management education product support for assigned accounts to ensure goals are met.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (or equivalent education and experience).
1+ years of experience in Sales
Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for daily workflow management.
Familiarity with sales engagement and email automation platforms.
Proficiency in SalesForce CRM software
Experience with Excel or Google Sheets
Ability to travel approximately 3-4 times per years of the time (air/ 3-4 days overnight)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong public speaking and audience engagement skills.
Demonstrated small group presentation skills both in a live setting and via webinars.
Ability to successfully work with cross-functional teams

For full-time positions, Kaplan has three salary grades. This position is Salary Grade A: $31,200 to $78,647. The specific compensation offered will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, and market data.
