Wealth Management Operations Specialist

What you do
Responsibilities:
For New Business:
Work with Business, Products and other supporting Functions (such as Finance, Technology, Legal & Compliance, Risk etc) to support new products and services
Represent Operations in Functional Specialist Meeting to document process flows for new products and services and coordinate product papers review
Manage tracking and closure of project and change deliverables in relation to new product and services
Project management of key strategic projects and business initiatives across GWO
For Business Support:
Prepare and analyse data to provide insights and support decision-making such as transaction volume and trend, operations service catalogue and unit processing capacity report
Coordinate within GWO to liaise with Group Operations on data initiatives
Support the Head of GWO with preparation of materials for management reporting, meetings or ad-hoc presentations
Support annual income classification and reclassification processes, including exception management, withholding tax refund allocation coordination, and discrepancy resolution with stakeholders and custodians.
Undertake other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree from a reputable university
Minimum 7 years relevant experience in Operations preferably within private banking with good understanding of the functions of O&T department, knowledge of products such as Custody, Nostro agents, Securities Services & Derivatives.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data preparation, trend analysis, operational reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to support data-driven decision-making and operational initiatives
Strong meeting organization and facilitation skills, experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management and support teams
Delivery focused and embracing challenges in a quickly changing, complex and fast-paced environment
Comfortable challenging ideas and working with disparate groups to bring about consensus. Experienced negotiator and skilled in conflict resolution.
Self-motivated and able to work independently and under minimum supervision
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
