Profile Summary:

The Junior Training Consultant will support the design, development, and delivery of high-impact training that equips financial professionals with the skills, confidence, and knowledge to succeed. The junior training consultant will participate in fostering an effective, sustainable training environment tailored to the needs of Voya Wealth Management to deliver and measure a consistent end-to-end customer experience while driving sales and retention.

Profile Description:

• Support the design and execution of world-class training programs that prepare new and experienced financial professionals to serve clients through holistic wealth management relationships.
• Assist in the facilitation of live and virtual training sessions for both new-to-role and experienced associates.
• Support the design and maintenance of engaging, modern content that leverages multiple modalities (live sessions, virtual, eLearning, job aids) focused on both financial education and broader advisory skills.
• Assist the larger team with operations functions to include administrative, logistical, and reporting needs.

• Proactively engage in project planning activities.
• Support data analysis and measurement of success criteria to promote alignment and progress towards desired project outcomes.
• Contribute to multi-functional teams addressing business needs related to Learning and Development

Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• FINRA SIE, Series 7 Required.
• 3+ years of experience as a field-based or phone-based Financial Advisor or financial sales experience in a wealth management firm/wirehouse.
• 1-3 years of Training experience preferred, both facilitation and instructional/content design
• 1-3 years of project management, operations management and/or data analysis experience preferred.
• Knowledge of managed accounts (UMA) and financial planning tools
• Knowledge of self-directed investment platforms and offerings.
• Knowledge of robo and auto-rebalancing investment products.
• Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, learn quickly, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
• Effective presentation and communications style that builds and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders and influences outcomes and decisions.

Preferred Knowledge

• Series 66 preferred (If not held, must be acquired within 120 days after hire)

This position will eventually be 5 days in office, Braintree, MA.

Occasionally work until 8:00 p.m. EST to support West Coast.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$75,830 - $126,390 USD
