What is the opportunity?
As the Wealth Management IT – Application Support (12 months renewable contract), you will be involved to maintain and support for a number of applications including but not limited to Avaloq - the core banking system used by Wealth Management (WM) Asia Business and Functional units.
What will you do?
- Works with the application support team lead and other team members as a team, to ensure safety and soundness of application environments for daily operations based on the SLA
- Provide L1 and L2 functional and technical support to the end users across multi-functional and geographic areas
- Manage complexity well and coordinate information and activities among groups with differing agendas, across multi-functional and geographic areas
- Support daily Day End Process, investigate and resolve when issue arise
- Coordinate with vendor or L2/3 to resolve production issues and communicate with end users
- Conduct UAT and PIV for adhoc or monthly release
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Bachelor/ Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent field
- 1 - 2 years’ experience in application support or business analysis role in banking/ brokerage/ investment industry
- Ability to quickly familiarise oneself with knowledge of international business units, regulations, pressures, requirements
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Strong troubleshooting and analysis skills
Nice-to-have
- Experience working with remote teams in global banks, and able to handle complex matrix structure
- Experience of Avaloq is nice-to-have
- Good knowledge of trading connectivity and market infrastructure
- Practical knowledge of financial markets and applicable regulations
