The Wealth Advisor is responsible for fostering new and existing client relationships by providing high-level customer service, proactively identifying strategic investment opportunities, and driving financial planning by gathering and analyzing data to create robust financial plans that meet clients’ financial goals.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partners with clients to identify, understand, and refine their financial goals; educates them on available financial services and investment opportunities.
- Analyzes clients’ financial status and develops recommendations that help them work towards well-defined financial objectives.
- Ensures client satisfaction and retention by developing and implementing appropriate financial solutions, building meaningful and long-lasting relationships.
- Acts as a fiduciary, placing clients’ interests and outcomes first.
- Conducts regular reviews with clients to update their financial plans as needed.
- Develops a professional network to drive business; proactively seeks new client opportunities.
- Leverages knowledge of the Bank’s internal systems for financial planning and cash flow analysis to drive business objectives.
- Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Keeps current with financial markets, industry trends, and relevant regulatory updates, to advise internal teams and leadership when needed.

QualificationsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, required.
- 5+ years’ experience in client-facing financial services role, required.
- CFA, CFP, CPA, or JD, preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Strong knowledge of estate and gift taxes, philanthropy, trust structures, insurance, income tax planning, and investment management.
- Strong understanding of wealth management concepts, investment opportunities, and financial markets.
- Prior success selling financial services.
- Excellent networking, relationship management, and client service skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial solutions to clients.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Skills Required
