What You Will Be Doing At Woodard & Curran:

 

An award-winning wastewater plant in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire is seeking a full-time, year-round individual to join our staff. Our Operators are responsible for the full-time operation and the general maintenance of the facility’s treatment process & equipment, as well as returning the treated water back to the environment. The position involves a variety of both physical and technical tasks such as testing and processing samples in our lab, inputting data into our plant databases, housekeeping, servicing the plants equipment, gathering plant data, snow removal, grounds keeping, repairing up to five miles of aluminum pipelines on our 300-acre site, to name a few. Each day can present a different challenge and learning opportunity. We take pride in caring for our facility, both inside and out! Work schedule will include a half day on either a Saturday or Sunday and full days on four weekdays. Must be available for emergency call-outs as needed.

What You Will Need To Succeed:

  • New Hampshire Wastewater Operator License Grade 1, 2 or 3 or the ability to obtain a NH OIT 1 Operator Certification within 12 months of employment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work as a team and individually.
  • High School graduate or equivalent, with technical/vocational school background.
  • Applicant must possess a valid Driver’s License and a good driving record and must be able to lift or move up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check, pre-placement physical and drug screen before employment.

Retirement Savings:
