As a Washington DC - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies within our Assurance practice. Responsibilities
- Supporting audit teams by participating in the execution of digital assurance tasks
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into financial reporting and compliance
- Assisting in the application of auditing methodologies to enhance the accuracy and reliability of assessments
- Engaging in basic research to support audit processes and decision-making
- Participating in the evaluation of internal controls and governance frameworks to promote transparency
- Collaborating with team members to understand and apply compliance and governance protocols
- Utilizing cloud engineering principles to support the development of efficient audit processes
- Contributing to the identification and analysis of potential risks within audit engagements
- Applying a learning mindset to develop personal skills and understanding of PwC practices
- Actively listening and asking questions to clarify tasks and enhance team collaboration
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
