The Warehousing Administrator is a developing administrator role, required to ensure the proper handling and storage of materials and products in the warehouse.
The Warehousing Administrator performs their daily tasks under supervision of a Warehousing Manager or Team Lead.
- Executes the inbound, picking, packing and outbound processes within a warehouse.
- Ensures that goods received and dispatched are authenticated and accurate records are processed.
- Escalate any issues, problems or discrepancies to the relevant Warehouse Supervisors.
- Keeps and maintains accurate records for archiving and retrieval.
- Assists in warehouse inventory management including stock count processes.
- Must be aware of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation and adhere to company policies in this regard.
- Performs any relevant task as requested by management.
- Client service orientated.
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery and related equipment.
- Good attention to detail.
- Knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good listening skills with the ability to follow instructions.
- High School Certification or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant Warehousing certification essential.
- SAP, Oracle and SNI Knowledge (Advantageous).
- 3 years experience in a warehousing environment.
- Some experience gained in a similar role.
- Some experience operating warehouse equipment is desirable.
