PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform shipping, receiving, and stocking warehouse tasks.
- Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped.
- Move items to appropriate areas.
- Record amounts of materials or items moved into computer database.
- Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as required.
- Ensuring daily pre-use inspections are completed on equipment prior to operation.
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
- Participate in shop inspections/investigations, including shop, environment, equipment and HSE incidents
- Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually, pack goods to be shipped and provide shipping instructions.
- Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Office knowledge required.
- ERP experience preferred.
- Warehouse software experience required.
- 1 year warehouse experience required.
- 2-3 years’ warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift operating experience required.
- Electric reach truck experience preferred.
- Knowledge and experience of rigging and loading preferred.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Overtime may be required.
- On-call rotation is required.
- Must be able to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds.
