How You Will Make an Impact:
- Be willing to work a Continuous 12-hour night shift.
- Responsible for Loading and unloading of trucks
- Performs physical preparation of customer orders
- Move finished products in and out of warehouse and distribution center
- Operate Forklift operation and perform inspections
- Responsible for inspecting and labeling incoming materials and pulling samples as required
- Complete paperwork and administrative duties related: Work Order Instruction Sheets and Bill of Lading
- Responsible for signing drivers in and out after normal business hours and on weekends
- Responsible for preparing and conducting shift change meetings
- Responsible for 5S activities and maintain housekeeping of assigned work areas
- In the absence of the Shipper or when requested by management, assumes responsibility of inspecting loads, as indicated by the Warehouseman’s signature on the Work Order Instruction Sheet
- Assures the implementation of compliance programs for all federal, state and local regulations covering employee health, safety and the environment.
- Assures that all air, water and solid waste control systems under their jurisdiction are operating properly
- Accommodates variable or temporarily increased workloads without loss of accuracy or precision.
- Initiates the response to any spills, leaks, and emergency situations within assigned areas.
- Maintains, records, and documents appropriate written and electronic operating records and data.
- Ensure all SOP’s and assigned CBT’s (Computer Based Training’s) is up to-date and current. Employee should be able to use Outlook and SharePoint to supplement communication, and for documentation as needed. Can utilize these tools to communicate and access appropriate information to complete their assigned job duties
- Satisfy all Corporate Quality Requirements and ISO9001 Quality Management System
- Practice Responsible Care 14001 through active participation in the Responsible Care Management System
- Must display the ability to work well with limited direction and supervision, follows written and oral instructions and directions well with limited supervision and follow up.
- Must be PC literate and possess good oral and written communication skills, as well as good interpersonal skills. Candidate must maintain and exhibit good attitude, ability, conduct, etc.
