Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack materials in our warehouse. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will be crucial to maintaining a productive and organized warehouse environment.

Duties:

- Operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse

- Load and unload trucks using a forklift

- Stack and organize materials in designated areas

- Perform routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or repair needs

- Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory and locate materials

- Will be asked to perform duties outside of your job description

- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements

- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting

- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic math skills

- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts such as clamp trucks and reach trucks

- Knowledge of proper materials handling techniques and safety protocols

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
