Recycling Lead
Job Overview
- Partner with Maintenance/Recycle Manager on all challenges, decisions, adjustments or changes to be made to ensure that all aspects of the Bob’s business plan are considered and followed
- Thoroughly understand Bob’s Discount Furniture Company & Department Policies and procedures
- Ensure that department training plan encompasses quality, speed and accuracy
- Mentor, guide, coach and train other Recycling employees in recycling materials, safe cleaning and material handling practices
- Provide updates to Managers throughout the day on all day-to-day activities and progress of associates
- Sort materials, operate forklift, and clamp trucks
- Delegate tasks and follow up
- All other duties as assigned

- Great starting hourly pay at $20.00 - $23.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)
- High School Diploma or equivalent Warehouse/mechanical experience
- Must be able to operate bailers and compressed recyclables
- Must be able to operate forklift and clamp truck
- Excellent communication and verbal skills
- Strong leadership & organizational skills
- Must be able to operate and adjust to change in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to organize and prioritize the workload daily
- Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bob’s
Physical Demands
- Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center.
- Move objects up to 250 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
- Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.
- Standing, walking, lifting, and arranging product: 90%
- Sitting: 5%
- Desk or phone work: 5%
