The Role
Own monitoring and operational health of Circit’s banking API provider network. Detect and investigate connectivity and data-quality anomalies, manage SWIFT exceptions and provider verifications, support provider onboarding and client hypercare, coordinate between banks, clients, and engineers, embed with product for operational context, and build process documentation and automation proposals to improve provider management.
Summary Generated by Built In

Circit is a fast growing B2B SaaS company that is on a mission to make business verifiable in real-time. We are creating a global asset verification platform that allows auditors to deliver higher quality financial audits and spend more time helping businesses to create greater value for all economic stakeholders. Our current customer base includes big four accountancy firms as well as global banks.

Our Verified Transactions (VT) product connects audit firms and their corporate clients directly to banking APIs — enabling real-time, secure confirmation of financial data from the world's largest banks. We're regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland as an AISP under PSD2, UK Financial Conduct Authority, accredited by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission open banking and work with clients including Big Four accountancy firms and global banks like JP Morgan, HSBC, Goldman Sachs, and Santander.

We're looking for a Provider Operations Analyst to own the day-to-day health and management of Circit's banking API provider network — currently 7k+ and growing. You'll be the person who ensures our connections to banks stay healthy, new providers get activated smoothly, and issues get identified before they impact clients.

This is not a traditional support role. You'll act as Circit's interlocutor with banking partners — communicating with banks on behalf of clients, managing tri-directional relationships between clients, banks, and our development team, and proactively monitoring API connectivity across our entire provider network. The scale is significant: thousands of provider endpoints generating millions of transactions, each with data quality signals that need monitoring and interpretation. You'll need to be deeply data-driven and comfortable using AI tools as daily force multipliers — not as a crutch, but as a way to stay ahead of a provider landscape that grows every quarter.

You'll sit between our product support function and the product team itself, spending roughly 20-30% of your time embedded with product to provide operational context for roadmap decisions.

You'll report to the Product Director and work closely with the Head of Bank API Platform. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is curious about fintech, comfortable with data, and wants to develop deep expertise in banking API connectivity and open banking infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provider Network Health and Monitoring
Own the proactive monitoring of provider API health across 50+ banking connections. Track bank data quality metrics, API response times, and connectivity status. Identify and investigate anomalies — when time-to-authorize increases for a high-volume provider, you're the person who notices, investigates, and acts. Maintain and update the provider status channel so support, customer success, and product teams have reliable, real-time visibility.
  • SWIFT Exception Management and Provider Verification
Manage the SWIFT exception queue, resolving repair cases and coordinating with banks and/or clients to clear blockers. Handle provider verification workflows across SWIFT, Plaid, Blink, and other connectivity channels. Ensure provider data in Circit's systems is accurate and current.
  • Provider Activation and Onboarding Support
Support the activation process for new bank connections — coordinating between Circit's engineering team and bank technical contacts to ensure smooth go-lives. Maintain the provider database with accurate coverage, authentication types, product support details, and connection status.
  • Client Hypercare and Authorization Support
Provide post-go-live support for clients on newly activated bank connections. Create and maintain client authorization guides. Act as the operational bridge when clients encounter provider-specific issues, communicating with banks on behalf of clients to resolve blockers.
  • Product Team Collaboration
Spend 20-30% of your time embedded with the product team, providing operational context that informs roadmap priorities. Surface patterns from provider monitoring that indicate product improvements needed. Contribute to data quality definitions and admin panel documentation for broader team enablement.
  • Process Documentation and Improvement
Build and maintain operational playbooks for provider monitoring, exception handling, and activation processes. Identify recurring issues and propose automation or process improvements. Contribute to the provider management vision — making provider information self-serviceable for customer success and support teams.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in operations, technical support, implementation, or a related role — in fintech, SaaS, banking, or technology
  • Data-driven mindset — you think in dashboards, metrics, and trends. Ability to read and interpret monitoring data, spot anomalies across large datasets, and investigate root causes. Basic SQL or data querying ability is a strong plus
  • AI fluency as a core working skill — you actively use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) as daily productivity multipliers — for data analysis, drafting communications, triaging issues, and automating repetitive workflows. You understand what AI does well and where it falls short, and you apply judgment on top of AI outputs rather than accepting them uncritically
  • API literacy — understanding of what APIs are, how REST APIs work, and what terms like OAuth, webhooks, and authentication flows mean (you don't need to build APIs, but you need to understand how bank API connectivity works)
  • Strong written communication — ability to write clear, professional communications to bank technical contacts, internal teams, and client-facing stakeholders
  • Proactive problem-solving orientation — you notice things before they break and follow through without being asked
  • Organizational ability — can manage multiple provider relationships and operational workflows simultaneously without dropping balls
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in open banking, bank connectivity, or financial services operations
  • Familiarity with SWIFT messaging, bank connectivity protocols, or API aggregation platforms
  • Experience with monitoring or observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Azure Monitor, or similar)
  • Experience with ticketing systems (Jira, Intercom, Zendesk, DevOps)
  • Understanding of data quality concepts and how to interpret DQ metrics across large datasets
  • Exposure to banking or API connectivity operations from either the bank side or the fintech side
  • Interest in product management as a career direction
