- Under the supervision of the Logistics Manager and direction of the Operations Manager, the Supply Supervisor receives, stores, and issues materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom or storage cage. This employee will keep records, compile inventory reports, and track and update the supply needs for all areas.
- The Supply Supervisor will manage inventory supplies and costs using the Company’s online Business Spend Management software.
- The Supply Supervisor will control and maintain on-hand inventory levels at the Company’s Central Operations Center.
- The Supply Supervisor will work with operations to ensure inventory lists are up to date for each station based on supply usage and will deliver the supplies needed to those areas.
- The Supply Supervisor will also work closely with all suppliers to review and obtain the best pricing for all materials purchased.
Specific Duties:
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical stock counts and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
- Oversee the inventory of administrative or ambulance supplies to ensure adherence to quality standards, expiration dates, and proper procedures regarding collection, disposal, or distribution of these items.
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms or storage areas.
- Performs any other related duties as assigned.
- Assures all company goals, objectives, and procedures are followed daily.
- Displays a positive mental attitude toward the position held at CONFIRE and its employees, clients, partners, or affiliates.
- Attends all company trainings and meetings as set by CONFIRE.
- Maintains supplies, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, supply rooms, or other areas.
- Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
- Clearly express oneself verbally and in writing
- Organizes, codes, and processes all vendor invoices as needed.
- At all times sets an example of professionalism for others to follow. Places customer service, compliance, and safety above all else.
- Demonstrates complete knowledge, understanding, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Reports to assigned shifts on time and properly groomed in appropriate business attire.
- Perform other duties as directed or needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement)
- Background, MVR, & Drug screen required (provided upon offer)
- Two years of supervisory experience.
- Must have excellent administrative skills and be very detail-oriented.
- Must be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects successfully.
- Must be punctual and able to meet deadlines as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to use a computer keyboard and write for extended periods of time.
- The ability to reach, push, and pull.
- The ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- The ability to bend, stoop, squat, and kneel for long periods of time.
- The ability to walk up and down stairs without difficulty.
- The ability to walk a distance of one-quarter of a mile without difficulty.
- The ability to complete all job duties as assigned.
Skills Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and drug screen (upon offer)
