This position will run from
approximately September to December for approximately 35 hours per week. The
wage of this position is $19.64 per hour. It is a hybrid work-location role
working at the Conestoga College Waterloo Campus..
- Design, development, and/or testing activities to support the creation an augmented/virtual reality platform that can be easily extended/modified to support a range of demo projects in support of ongoing Applied Research objectives at Conestoga College
- Additional activities will include assisting in gathering requirements, agile software development and software quality testing for the project and research activities as required
Requirements
- Application software design, development and troubleshooting using Microsoft technologies (e.g. Visual Studio on Win10 64bit)
- Development experience in C++, C#, Unity3D
- Familiarity with audio and graphical asset management in Unity3D
- Track record of quickly adapting to new software technologies
- Good communications skills; Collaborative approach to work
- Familiarity with Agile software development and working to a weekly schedule with minimal supervision an asset.
- Previous experience in the fields of education/training, healthcare or industrial manufacturing an asset

Complete the Work Study Eligibility Application, and demonstrate
financial need
International
Students Must:
- Hold a valid Canadian study permit
that allows on-campus employment
- Adhere to all requirements stated on
their study permit
- Adhere to all Canadian student visa
requirements

applying to a Work Study position.
