Vega is one of the fastest-growing startups in cybersecurity, redefining security analytics and operations with an AI-native platform for SecOps and Cyber Defense teams. We are building the next-generation operating system for security teams. Vega is already delivering real impact at some of the world's largest organizations, improving detections, unlocking the value of their security data, and reducing cost and complexity. With HQs in New York and TLV, we're looking for people who want to be a part of the next rocket-ship in cyber.
About the Role
As VP of Technical Account Management at Vega, you'll own the entire post-sale technical engagement model. You'll inherit a strong foundation of a few existing TAMs and your job is to expand, build and scale it. You'll define the playbooks, hire the next generation of the team, and make sure our most important customers get full, measurable value from Vega, from onboarding through long-term impact.
Those customers are among the largest and most demanding security organisations in the world: Fortune 500 and Global 2000 enterprises, where the stakes are high, the environments are complex, and the expectations are set accordingly.
This role reports directly to Vega's Co-Founder & CTO.
What You'll Do
Build and own Vega's post-sale organization
- Define what great post-sale technical deployments looks like at Vega and build toward it.
- Establish the processes, playbooks, and engagement models that scale as we grow.
- Set KPIs that actually reflect customer value, not just activity metrics.
- Hire, develop, and scale a global team of Technical Account Managers.
Make customers measurably successful
- Ensure customers get real, demonstrable value from Vega, better detections, faster investigations, lower cost and complexity.
- Build strong relationships with strategic accounts at both the technical and executive level.
- Serve as the senior technical escalation point for the hardest problems on the most important accounts.
- Proactively identify risks across the portfolio and drive mitigation before they become crises.
Be the customer voice inside Vega
- Partner with Account Management, Support, Product, and Engineering to drive retention and resolve issues fast.
- Translate what you see across customers, real patterns, real friction, real gaps, into product influence.
- Be the person in the room when roadmap decisions get made, representing the reality of how security teams operate.
- Advocate for the industry shift toward agentic detections and AI-driven security workflows.
Show up in person when it counts
- Travel to customer sites for key engagements (~50% of the time)
What Success Looks Like
First 30 days
- You know our top accounts firsthand - where each is getting value, where there is friction
- A clear read on the team, the gaps, and the hiring plan to close them

- Tiering and engagement model defined, with playbooks for onboarding, adoption and escalation
- First hires landed and productive
- Baseline metrics established and reported: time-to-first-value, adoption depth, account health
- A working feedback loop where customer signal shapes the roadmap
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years working directly with customers in technical account management, pre-sales, customer success, or security consultancy roles.
- 5+ years of proven experience managing and scaling a TAM team in B2B SaaS.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM or security analytics platforms, you understand the technology, not just the category.
- Experience at a cybersecurity company, startup experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record with large enterprises, including Fortune 100 accounts.
- Strong cloud fundamentals across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder communication skills, equally effective with engineers and C-suite.
- Comfortable moving fast in a high-growth, global startup environment where the playbook is still being written.
Bonus Points
