The Role

The BeyondTrust VP, Tax & Treasury will lead the company’s global direct and indirect tax function, and treasury management and develop and execute a global tax strategy.  Critical senior-level positions require deep and wide technical skills and management capabilities.  The VP, of Tax & Treasury must be an excellent communicator and possess the ability to partner effectively across the organization to facilitate decision-making and develop solutions to complex global tax and treasury matters.  The principal purpose of this role is global tax compliance, tax liability and risk minimization, and cash controls. 

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute an effective global tax strategy.
• Manage entity-wide direct and indirect tax filings and overall tax compliance, coordinating with external regulators and service providers as needed.
• Ensure tax processes and policies capture required information and can be scaled to meet future changes in the organization.
• Oversee global income tax accounting including both US GAAP and local country statutory reporting.
• Lead research, planning, and strategy around tax-related issues including planning to minimize ETR and taxes paid in both domestic and international tax markets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with senior management and executives in order to understand the business and translate business initiatives into the tax arena.
• Coordinate with the Accounting function on tax-related controls, policy, and external reporting needs.
• Manage and direct the required tax accounting for business acquisitions and other significant non-recurring transactions.
• Manage global tax audits.
• Develop and maintain best practices in the areas of cash management and forecasting.
• Oversee banking relationships and investment strategies.
• Manage, coach, and develop staff.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and active CPA
• CPA
• 10+ years of progressive experience in a high-growth company
• Expertise in domestic and International direct & indirect taxes
• Knowledge or regulatory requirements, US GAAP, FASB, ASC 740

Nice To Have

• Masters in Taxation and CTP preferred 
• Prior Big 4 tax experience 
• Knowledge of NetSuite  
• OneSource Tax Provision experience
