About the Role: 

As the Vice President, Supply Chain, you will be a key member of the leadership team. You will be responsible for managing and developing a talented team responsible for ensuring risk mitigation, continuity of supply, and product affordability for upcoming New Product Introductions and Sustaining Production. 

What You’ll Do: 

Cost and Commodity Management

  • Develop and deliver strategy for commodities and end products.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and end manufacturers.
  • Manage the supply chain by monitoring, reporting, and providing direction on issues which could affect quality, delivery, or pricing.
  • Perform industry benchmarking and supplier risk assessments. Build and communicate mitigation plans.
  • Maintain electronics industry intelligence on technology trends, sourcing options and competitive pricing.
  • Develop alternate sources for current/future product needs and technologies from a worldwide market.
  • Improve cost models and forward costing analysis tools.

Strategy and Demand Planning

  • Lead, manage, and direct S&OP, Forecasting, Planning, Procurement, Order Management, etc.
  • Partner with product development and finance to develop a manufacturing and logistics strategy to support a rapidly growing product line
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to keep up with customer/inventory demand
  • Assess current and future operational risks globally and locally, and translate those into strategies.
  • Manage internal ordering processes to optimize inventory, ensuring supplier and manufacturing compliance for legal, regulatory and sustainability requirements and goals

Logistics

  • Develop and deploy logistics, inventory, and warehousing performance standards that support and align with company strategy and customer expectations
  • Drive COGs reduction through a robust logistics strategy
  • Collaborate with Tax and Trade Compliance on execution of logistics strategy and footprint

Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with engineering leadership to collaboratively develop, direct, and implement manufacturing process and product improvement strategies
  • Build an Operations Program Management team to own and drive continuous improvement and efficiency at the factory leading to better efficiency and cost.

Operations Infrastructure

  • Align with IT and BizOps teams to implement reports, dashboards, and more.
  • Establish and maintain performance metrics for all associated Hardware Ops functions in Cost, Shipping, Production, and Returns & Repairs

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain & logistics operations with previous experience leading a team
  • Previous experience running supply chain for a devices company (either B2B devices or consumer devices okay)
  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or Business is required, and a master’s degree is preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to build out a new team globally
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform data analysis to craft tactical operational recommendations
  • Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. For this role, the compensation range is:

United States

$198,000$301,000 USD
