The Opportunity
“Come join our product development team to provide thought leadership and innovation. This role provides the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our business, work closely with customers, sales, professional services, and product management to architect, design and develop a highly feature rich product.” – CTO.
What You’ll Contribute
- Manage product development, owns full product responsibilities and drives new initiatives for overall product improvement.
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to attract talent, set goals, measure and reward performance.
- Possess expertise in new technologies, and contributes to product milestones by solving/ proactively avoiding most complex problems.
- Demonstrate high level of engagement to drive people towards organizational level goals.
- Effectively manage conflict founded on relationship building, fact-based decision management and a collaborative style.
- Identify root causes of issues and resolves them. Have a strong drive to alert the CTO proactively to emerging risks.
- Encourage innovation, foster a high-energy focused environment and engages with leaders and teams across the organization to ensure that our products and services drive value.
What We’re Seeking
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related disciplines, or relevant executive management experience in enterprise software development in a global organization.
- Experience in collaborative development environments working closely with Professional Services, Sales, Analytics, IT, etc. with proven ability to develop and execute risk mitigation approaches.
- Experience in working in a distributed team environment, where coordinating effort across matrix teams was critical to success.
- Experience with multiple software development methodologies and their tools.
- Demonstrated innovation within software team(s).
- Demonstrated experience in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
- Knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle.
- Ability to articulate the design walkthrough with architects and discuss strategy / requirements with teams.
- Ability to develop and implement a vision that integrates organizational goals and priorities.
