WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Work directly with sports teams/league leadership, facilities, and vendors to develop and support live game-day sports production.
- Oversee relationships with all production vendors as well as directly supervise the internal production/operation team.
- Oversee package production and the optimization of integration opportunities into the broadcast.
- Liaison with internal stakeholders, local affiliates, and the Scripps Sports revenue team for implementation and distribution of all on-air elements associated with revenue-generating content.
- Work to improve efficiencies in production and optimize sponsorship integration opportunities.
- Work closely with Scripps internal creative teams on the development of Scripps Sports production and branding elements including in-game graphics.
- Research, develop, recommend, and execute strategies to distribute sports partnership content.
- Act as a liaison with other production arms of Scripps ensuring that all sports productions meet network standards.
- Communicate clearly and effectively within the C suite, Scripps Sports division staff, as well as with other Scripps departments to improve the flow of information, establish constructive collaboration, and minimize errors.

- BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent years of experience
- Master's degree preferred
- Generally, 10+ years of experience in related field
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in TV, sports industry, or in related field preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of management experience preferred
- Direct leadership experience working with collegiate and/or professional sports teams/leagues
- General understanding of the nuances that teams, leagues, and collegiate athletics adhere to as it relates to advertising and broadcasting
- Experience leading large cross-functional collaborations with internal partners and third parties/vendors
- Ability to interact on an executive level with production, engineering, and senior management
- Capability to respond under stress and tight deadlines
- Track record of harnessing technology and on-screen innovations to unlock the economic value of broadcasting live sports
- Ability to manage and strategically prioritize numerous projects and problem-solve in a fast-paced business environment
