Position Summary:

The VP of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and leading a high-performing sales team. This individual will play a critical role in shaping sales strategies, developing key client relationships, and ensuring alignment with company goals and service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company’s strategic sales plan, including revenue targets and market expansion goals.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of sales professionals; oversee recruitment, training, and performance management.

  • Identify new business opportunities in telecom infrastructure, field services, and systems integration.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and partners.

  • Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure alignment between client needs and service delivery.

  • Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitor activity to adjust strategies proactively.

  • Represent DataOne Systems at industry events, client meetings, and presentations.

  • Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and pipeline updates to executive leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, or related field.

  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in technology, telecom, or professional services.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and driving business growth.

  • Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, including Service Providers and Hyperscalers.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with telecom infrastructure, fiber optics, or field technical services.

  • Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.

  • Understanding of safety and compliance requirements in technical services industries.
