Purpose of Role
Responsible for providing strategic leadership for the Retail Sales organization by developing and executing an integrated enablement strategy that improves sales effectiveness, leader capability, employee development, and business performance. Combines firsthand sales leadership experience with expertise in training and development and sales enablement to ensure Retail Sales leaders and team members have the knowledge, skills, tools, resources, and processes necessary to succeed. Partners closely with Retail Sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to identify performance opportunities, translate business priorities into scalable enablement solutions, and measure the impact of enablement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Develops and executes a comprehensive Retail Sales enablement strategy aligned with organizational objectives, sales priorities, and performance goals.
- Partners with Retail Sales leaders to identify performance gaps, capability needs, and opportunities to improve sales effectiveness and execution.
- Leads the design and implementation of training, development, coaching, and enablement programs that strengthen the capabilities of sales professionals and sales leaders.
- Applies firsthand sales leadership experience to ensure enablement strategies and programs are practical, relevant, and aligned with the realities of the sales environment.
- Establishes scalable onboarding, ongoing development, leadership development, and continuous learning approaches for the Retail Sales organization.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with business partners to support the successful implementation and adoption of sales initiatives, processes, tools, products, and organizational changes.
- Evaluates sales performance data, business results, learner feedback, and other measures to identify opportunities and assess the effectiveness of enablement programs.
- Establishes meaningful measures of enablement effectiveness and uses results to continuously improve programs, resources, and delivery approaches.
- Provides strategic guidance to senior Retail Sales leaders regarding capability development, change adoption, sales execution, and performance improvement.
- Leads, develops, and establishes priorities for the Enablement function, creating clear accountability and alignment with Retail Sales objectives.
- Promotes consistent sales practices and reinforces applicable regulatory, compliance, and organizational requirements through enablement programs and resources.

Qualifications - Experience/Skills/Competencies
- Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience across sales leadership, training and development, sales enablement, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience leading a sales organization or sales team with accountability for sales performance and execution.
- Demonstrated experience developing and leading training, learning and development, or talent-development programs within a sales-oriented organization.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing sales enablement strategies that improve employee capability, adoption, productivity, and business performance.
- Ability to operate strategically while translating business priorities into practical, scalable programs and solutions.
- Strong leadership and organizational-change capabilities, including the ability to influence leaders and drive adoption across a complex organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use performance data, business metrics, and feedback to identify needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and build productive partnerships across multiple functions and levels of an organization.
- Knowledge of sales processes, sales leadership practices, adult learning principles, performance improvement, and organizational development.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
