The VP of Sales-Americas is a key member of the Sales leadership team, who is responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategies that align with our organizational and go-to-market strategy. This individual will bring an energetic and aspirational approach to their leadership, fostering a high-performing culture while building strong relationships with our prospects, customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. The VP of Sales-Americas will possess a strategic mindset with a proven track record of driving substantial revenue growth and market expansion. This individual must have a strong coaching personality who does not shy away from details and respects the operational side of sales, which will make their teams successful.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Americas region that drives revenue growth, market share, and brand recognition.

  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, enhancing their skills and capabilities to achieve individual and team targets.

  • Customer Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with key prospects, customers, and partners, understanding their needs to drive tailored solutions and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities, making data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance.

  • Sales Performance: Set ambitious sales targets and KPIs, regularly monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions, as necessary, to achieve and exceed objectives.

  • Collaboration: Partner with the revenue operations team to ensure the optimization of sales processes, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with operations and enablement leadership and cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure alignment and drive customer satisfaction.

  • Budget Management: Partner with the Chief Customer Officer and Finance team to manage the Americas sales team budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.

  • Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to the executive team, outlining successes, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
     

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with a strong emphasis on SaaS and AI technology.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience leading an Americas Sales team.

  • 5+ years experience working in complex software and relationship-driven sales preferred. Previous success in achieving significant revenue responsibilities.

  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.

  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and writing abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and a drive for excellence.

  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive sales culture.

  • Adaptable and resilient, capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
