VP of Sales AMEC will meet/exceed our revenue growth and objectives. Leading a team of sector Sales Directors responsibilities include developing sales and growth strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve the financial targets. VP of AMEC Sales duties will include building up the highly motivated sales team, hitting sales and targets (Quarterly/Half-Year/Annual), building relationships and understanding customer trends
What you will do
- Define regional Sales & Marketing Strategy
- Own Sales & Design-win targets of the region
- Align on transfer of business between regions with other Regional Leaders
- Drive global sales for strategic accounts in region
- Manage, steer and maintain cost envelope for the region (Regional sellex cost management)
- Rigorously drive Culture of Performance throughout organization
- Staffing, Performance Management, Talent management, timely incentive roll-out and hire/fire decisions (in close cooperation with the SVP Sales & Marketing and HR Sales & Marketing)
- Drive a commercial and technical workforce and as such enable the team to develop as trusted adviser to the customers in the region
- Provide input on product roadmaps, customer lists, account value propositions and GTM resources and structure
- Deploy pricing and target setting programs defined by SVP Sales & Marketing
- Establish Business Governance Drive and support monthly business reviews, quarterly RFF.
What you will need
- University background / education in electrical engineering or business administration with technical affinity
- In-depth Understanding of Semiconductor Market and Channels and market participants including reference design influence and transnational accounts
- Minimum of 15 Years sales experience in the Semiconductor Industry
- Track Record of minimum 10 years international leadership experience in a cross functional team
Hard Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred; higher degrees are a bonus.
- Detailed technical understanding of Automotive applications is a plus
- Solid experience to promote standard/commodity products
- In-depth Understanding of Semiconductor Market and Channels and market participants including reference design influence and transnational accounts
- Excellent customer negotiation skills.
- A drive to persevere, overcome obstacles, and succeed.
- Proven track record formulating win-win proposals and closing large deals.
- Comfort in fast-paced environments; experience in public companies is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Entrepreneurial thinking, result oriented, customer focused
- Team player with hands-on mentality
- Proven track record in working in multicultural/international teams
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, especially drive through the action plan.

- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Willingness to travel frequently.
