Western Union is seeking a VP, Digital Analytics to lead enterprise analytics capabilities across marketing, pricing, and product analytics. This leader will shape the analytics roadmap, build scalable AI and automation capabilities, and partner across Digital, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering to improve customer growth, conversion, retention, revenue, and margin performance.
Role Responsibilities
As a key member of Western Union's Digital leadership team, this executive will own the strategy and execution of high-impact analytics capabilities that help inform digital growth, product decisions, pricing strategy, and marketing effectiveness.
- Set and lead the digital analytics strategy across marketing, pricing, product, and go-to-market analytics, ensuring the roadmap is aligned to business priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Advance AI, automation, and advanced analytics capabilities that improve decision quality, operating efficiency, customer experience, revenue growth, and margin expansion.
- Own pricing analytics, pricing experimentation, revenue optimization, and pricing product capability development in partnership with Product, Finance, and regional/business leaders.
- Lead marketing analytics across acquisition, retention, lifecycle, attribution, personalization, segmentation, and channel performance to improve customer growth and return on investment.
- Drive product analytics capabilities, including funnel optimization, customer behavior insights, experimentation, product performance measurement, and digital experience improvements.
- Translate complex data into clear executive-level insights and recommendations that influence strategy, investment decisions, and commercial execution.
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing analytics team, establishing governance, standards, talent plans, and operating rhythms that scale across the organization.
- Partner cross-functionally with Digital, Product, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Data Science, and regional teams to embed analytics into planning, execution, and performance management.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in analytics, data science, economics, statistics, business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 12-15+ years of experience in analytics, data science, digital strategy, growth, pricing, or related commercial analytics roles, with 5+ years in senior or executive leadership.
- Deep experience in marketing analytics, including acquisition, retention, attribution, segmentation, lifecycle measurement, personalization, and performance optimization.
- Strong experience in pricing analytics, pricing strategy, experimentation, revenue optimization, and margin improvement.
- Strong product analytics experience, including customer journey/funnel analytics, experimentation, digital product performance measurement, customer behavior insights, and product-led growth measurement.
- Demonstrated success applying AI/ML, automation, experimentation, SQL/data tooling, and advanced analytics in commercial environments.
- Proven ability to connect analytics to business outcomes, including measurable revenue growth, customer growth, conversion improvement, retention, margin expansion, and operating efficiency.
- Experience in digital, fintech, payments, marketplace, consumer technology, or other high-scale B2C environments preferred.
- Executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, simplify complex analysis, and drive decisions across Product, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, and business teams.
- Experience building teams, analytics governance, operating models, and scalable ways of working in a matrixed global environment.
Work Shift
HYBRID - Western Union values in-person collaboration, problem solving, and ideation whenever possible. We believe this fosters common ways of working and supports how we execute initiatives for our customers. The expectation is to work from the office a minimum of three days a week.

Salary
The on-target earnings range is $475,000-$515,000 per year, which includes a base salary and short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
