Role Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a high-performing HR function that is responsible for the Oxeon employee life cycle.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO and other members of the executive team around organizational structure and strategy.
- Drive employee engagement and retention; ensure clear and compelling career paths for Oxeon’s workforce.
- Drive a high performing culture through partnership with leaders to drive programming, learning and development, and processes that support our business aims and objectives.
- Develop dynamic and trusted relationships with leaders and colleagues across the company to inform, build and execute upon Oxeon’s people strategy and programs.
- Bring excellent judgment in managing the day to day and handling sensitive employee issues.
- Partner with vendors, outside counsel and an HR network of peers to create a 360 set of services to support our work.
- Dive into the nuts and bolts of our benefits, compensation strategy and insurance programs to inform the best plan across the organization.
- Ensure we are attracting and recruiting top talent across the organization.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state laws.
- Navigate people issues and identify solutions that reflect the size and stage of our organization.
- Proactively identify communication strategies that help colleagues understand and engage with salient company information.
- Contribute to company-wide Oxeon culture and exemplify our six core values.
Requirements for the Role
- Strong functional experience as an HR generalist in a high growth business (Experience across core HR pillars including talent management, L&D, Comp & Benefits, HR Ops, and Recruiting).
- A superb team leader who can motivate, inspire and develop a team of high performing people while also executing on the work alongside the team.
- Demonstrated EQ and dynamic communication skills needed to quickly build trusting collaborative relationships.
- Intellectual horsepower needed to problem solve.
- A demonstrated project manager.
- Motivation, perseverance and confidence to solve problems, take initiative and succeed in high pressure situations.
- Ability to flex between high level thinking and detailed problem solving.
- Experience working alongside C-suite executives as a peer but also being comfortable going into the weeds with all levels in the organization.
- High-energy individual who has a track record of being a strong communicator and positive, collaborative colleague.
- Knowledge of healthcare or a demonstrated track record of understanding the industry & business the role is supporting preferred.
- Professional or client services experience preferred.
What You Can Expect From Us
- A flexible, hybrid work model. We spend time in-person in the New York office 3 days per week (Tuesday-Thursday) and are flexible on Mondays and Fridays. Additionally, everyone has additional “work from anywhere” days, where they can choose to work remotely for extended periods of time.

Salary Expectations
- Total Cash Compensation: $216,000 - $240,000
- Base: $180,000 - $200,000
- Equity: Cash distributions are variable based on tenure and fund performance
