The Impact You'll Have
As VP of Payment Markets, you will own and architect Notabene’s expansion into traditional and crypto-aligned payment infrastructure. This is a senior strategic role for an experienced payments leader who can both design market strategy and personally execute high-leverage initiatives during our early growth phase.
You’ll work directly with the CEO and lead the charge in defining how we scale into PSPs, stablecoin enablement, and enterprise payment layers.
What You'll Do
- Full strategy and execution plan for Notabene’s payment market entry
- Defining, testing, and prioritizing integration paths with PSPs, networks, and payment processors
- Market validation loops: direct partnership work, GTM alignment, and customer-facing feedback
- Designing and launching a 0→1 payment feature roadmap in collaboration with product/eng
- Authoritative decisions on domain prioritization, partner sequencing, and internal resourcing
- Hiring and scaling a high-trust, high-context payment team after traction is proven
Must Haves
- 10+ years in payments, with 4+ years at a major PSP (Stripe, Adyen, Klarna, etc.)
- Deep understanding of authorization flows, interchange, and ecosystem incentives
- Proven experience leading strategic partnerships and multi-stakeholder integrations
- Comfort owning cross-functional payment work without needing structure handed down
- Hands-on experience (1+ year) in digital assets or stablecoin strategy
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience launching a network or platform play
- Familiarity with compliance layers within payment flows
- Prior startup or early-stage GTM experience
