Morgan Stanley is seeking a Director or Vice President to join its Collateral and Indications Operations. This team is responsible for the end-to-end management of OTC derivatives collateral operations for Japanese clients trading with Morgan Stanley Japan, as well as with Morgan Stanley’s UK and US affiliate entities. As part of the Operations division, the team works closely with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, maintain strong control frameworks, and deliver high-quality service to clients.
What you'll do in the role:
- Manage and execute operational processes in relation to Collateral management functions
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, responding to queries and providing operational support
- Manage regulatory report submissions and maintain legal ledgers
- Oversee risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements
- Manage and develop team members, including career development, resourcing decisions, and performance evaluations
- Contribute to projects and strategic initiatives by supporting solution development and ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Assess and implement process enhancements to meet new regulatory requirements and support business initiatives
