A rare and influential leadership opportunity with Accor – the largest hotel operator in the Pacific.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer – Pacific, we are seeking an exceptional operational leader to elevate performance, culture, guest experience and commercial outcomes across our Premium, Midscale & Economy (PME) hotels in New Zealand and Fiji. If you are an inspirational operator with a passion for people, owners, and strategic delivery, this is a significant and highly impactful regional leadership opportunity.

This position has oversight of Accor’s Premium, Midscale & Economy hotels across New Zealand and Fiji . You will drive results by championing Accor standards, guiding a high-performing community of General Managers, and ensuring every hotel delivers world-class guest experiences, strong Heartist engagement, sustainable operations and exceptional financial performance. With responsibility for 18 hotels today and more development opportunities emerging, this role is positioned at the forefront of Accor’s future growth in the region.

As a senior representative of Accor in the region, you will cultivate trusted relationships with owners, industry partners and local communities while upholding the principles and cultural respect central to Aotearoa & Fiji.

    Job Description

    • Developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for the PME Hotel Operations across New Zealand & Fiji 
    • Facilitating engagement between Accor and the owning companies, ensuring commercial and productive relationships that drive mutual success.
    • Delivering the combined financial return to Accor by enabling hotels in the region to meet financial objectives while maximising profitability for the company.
    • Executing group and regional initiatives and projects across PME hotels
    • Implementing regional strategic sales and marketing plans to drive market share and revenue growth.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience as a General Manager, managing multiple Hotels, brands and owners across multiple states
    • Familiar with the New Zealand & Fiji landscape and practices
    • Demonstrated success in driving the commercial performance of the business and delivering on KPIs
    • Clear communication, creating impactful relationships with the Regional team
    • A proven leader with a strategic vision
    • Fosters positive owner relationships while maximising performance
