What You'll Do:
The Vice President of Operations (VP of Operations) will play a pivotal role in scaling the company’s operations, driving business growth and enhancing operational excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced adtech environment. Reporting to the APAC Executive MD, the VP of Operations will be a key member of the APAC leadership team. Key stakeholders include the MDs of APAC markets and Practice/Product/ R&D leaders.
The role can be based in either Australia, Japan or Korea.
Key areas of responsibility include the following:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement Operational strategies to drive APAC business growth and scalability. Collaborate with APAC leadership team to align operational goals with APAC business strategies and long-term objectives.

Talent management: Build and lead a high-performing APAC Operations team, fostering a culture of client-centricity, accountability and continuous improvement.

Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and scalability. Manage resources, budgets, and timelines to achieve operational excellence.

Technology and Process Innovation: Collaborate with Product, Practice, R&D and Operations counterparts to leverage cutting-edge technologies for operational optimization and automation. Lead initiatives to streamline operations and implement best practices to improve operational productivity.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Sales, Product and Practice teams to ensure operational initiatives are aligned with go-to-market strategies and client needs. Drive operational readiness for product launches and expansion into new markets.

Financial and Resource Management: Owns and manages operational budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency while meeting performance goals. Plan for capacity expansion in anticipation of future business needs.
Who You Are:

Experience: Proven experience as an APAC Operation leaders or in a similar senior operational role within the eCommerce industry and for a retail media business.

Leadership: Strong leadership and people management skills with experience leading large, diverse teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Operational Expertise: Deep knowledge of operational processes, organizational design, and business optimization practices.

AdTech Expertise: Familiarity with digital advertising, programmatic platforms, data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and the overall adtech ecosystem.

Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
