VP of Marketing

Your role

HousingAnywhere is the leading marketplace in Europe for mid- to long-term rent. We seek a strategic and results-oriented VP of Marketing to lead the marketing function across all brands: HousingAnywhere, Studapart and Kamernet. 

This is a key leadership role responsible for defining and executing the marketing strategy that drives brand equity, customer acquisition, and lifecycle engagement across all brands and channels. 

You will report to the COO and collaborate closely with regional and functional leaders, part of the extended leadership team.

Your responsibilities 

• Strategy and leadership
  • Own the vision and strategy for the marketing function across HousingAnywhere, Studapart and Kamernet.
  • Participate in the operational planning process to define objectives, initiatives, resources and organizational design for the marketing department in line with the company strategy and objectives. 
  • Manage departmental budgeting, including personnel and tools.
  • Partner with regional leaders to plan marketing budgets and campaigns.
• Team and organization
  • Serve as the functional leader of marketing within a matrix organization, ensuring alignment between regional go-to-market teams and central marketing operations.
  • Design and implement organizational structure to support the regional/functional matrix organization.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team.
• Growth marketing
  • Set and manage performance KPIs, continually optimizing for ROI and impact.
  • Drive user acquisition across all marketing channels including SEO, SEM, email, affiliates, paid media, and social.
• Customer lifecycle management
  • Develop the customer lifecycle management vision and implement CRM strategy to improve tenant and landlord activation, engagement, and retention. 
• Product marketing
  • Define and communicate the value proposition of our offerings to drive product adoption and usage. 
  • Develop launch plans, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for new features and products.
• Brand and communications
  • Strengthen the position of our brands across target markets through consistent messaging and storytelling.
  • Oversee public relations, content strategy, and corporate communications.

Your profile

• 10+ years in marketing leadership roles, with at least 5 years leading teams.
• Strong people leader with a track record of hiring, developing, and retaining top marketing talent.
• Experience working in or with international teams and multicultural markets.
• Prior experience developing and executing marketing plans, managing multi-million euro budgets.
• Demonstrated experience with revenue attribution models and methodologies to accurately evaluate media spend effectiveness.
• Strong understanding of the different marketing disciplines, including brand, PR, organic (SEO, Content), paid (SEA, Social Media, Affiliates), CRM, and product marketing.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a two-sided marketplace is strongly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
