What You’ll Do 
The VP, Integrated Investment is an expert in digital marketing and buying across all digital channels and is a thought leader on emerging practices.   They should be highly visible and a representation (both internally and externally) of the best HMI has to offer, providing agency POVs and providing clients with thought leadership on the latest, most relevant topics The VP’s core responsibility is to ensure excellent relationships are maintained between clients, internal agency contacts, and external agency partners.  They also lead departmental projects and represent the agency at industry events, providing learnings and actionable takeaways back to the agency In this role, you must maintain balanced work structures and staff resources while building a high-performing team. The VP is expected to lean-in to new business and participate in RFI submissions and pitch work.  

 

Account Management- 60% 

  • Maintain a positive and efficient relationship with clients, internal agency contacts, and external agency partners 

  • A thorough understanding of the integrated media landscape; linear, video, audio, social, SEM, SEO, mobile, programmatic, connected TV, gaming, augmented reality, Affiliate, Influencer, and Analytics 

  • Management of multiple accounts/ teams.  Strong skills as a manager with the ability to mentor, coach, and support.  Encourage an environment of collaboration and entrepreneurship 

  • Guide clients and internal teams in education of evolving concepts and integrated executions within the industry, acting as trusted and sought out resource for clients and agency team members 

  • Lead Performance Coach process by identifying overall team goals and ensuring individual team goals cascade.  Optimize resource management  

  • Track and ensure ALL client savings goals are achieved 

Department Responsibilities- 25% 

  • Advocate for HMI initiatives/ resources i.e. Analytics team, HX, Where/Why teams, etc. 

  • Lead departmental projects, which include but are not limited to: agency deals, POVs, process creation, etc.  

  • Support fellow HMI digital leadership by sharing knowledge i.e. case studies, process, etc. 

  • Participation/ attendance at industry conferences, speaking events, and committees 

  • Lead submission for awards 

 

New Business- 15% 

  • Actively involved in written RFI responses and case studies 

  • Lead/ participate in new business pitches

Preferred Skills & Experience 

  • 10+ years of experience developing strategic media recommendations and stewarding digital media account projects, acting as a client contact 

  • Clear understanding of building brands and driving acquisition, and how they connect 

  • Extensive experience leading direct client interaction and relationships 

  • Previous experience working in a cross-functional capacity, liaising with Account Management leadership 

  • Experienced buyer of linear television and CTV 

  • Well-versed in today’s privacy landscape, including the use of established and emerging cookieless solutions to reach consumers 

  • Knowledgeable in DMP/CDPs; experience working with agency data platforms 

  • Expert in negotiating and constructing digital media plans, with understanding of planning, buying and activation 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to confidently present and “sell through” ideas  

  • Strong experience and principles navigating cross-department relationships 

  • Leadership and supervisory experience in terms of developing media professionals, including strategic and people management skills

Salary Range

$165,000.00 - $220,000.00

A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education,  licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.  As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.  We provide a competitive total rewards package including a discretionary bonus and a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, company paid holidays and unlimited paid time off (PTO), mental health and wellness resources, pet insurance, childcare resources, identity theft insurance, fertility assistance programs, and fitness reimbursement.
