What You’ll Do:
The VP, Governance & Performance has primary responsibility for the oversight of:
HMDA/CRA data integrity activities. Maintaining Centralized Loan Operations department procedures.
Review of Bank Control, table changes as well as all key data field additions, deletions, and changes in IBS and ACBS.
Activity analysis and reporting which includes providing service level measurements to the Wintrust charters.
Development, coordination and delivery of training within Centralized Loan Operations.
Department Leadership:
Manage all department responsibilities including:
Monitoring daily workflow to ensure necessary functions are processed in a
timely manner as outlined above and in line with documented Policies and
Procedures.
Maintaining and refining department level procedures.
Coordinating training efforts across the team.
Handling more complex scenarios and escalations as needed.
People Development:
Create a high performing team by providing coaching, career
development opportunities and feedback to direct reports and team members.
Establish group and individual team member goals.
Provide team members with appropriate training and support to promote a
strong understanding of daily responsibilities and management’s expectations.
Confirm all team members successfully complete mandatory regulatory
compliance and related training.
Innovation, Efficiency & Process Improvement:
Optimize daily activities by identifying efficiency opportunities including process
changes; staff allocation & upskilling; outsourcing, and technology solutions
inclusive of existing vendor tools, artificial intelligence and RPA.
Collaborate with partners (e.g. Product and IT) to improve operating effectiveness.
Qualifications:
7-10 years, including prior management experience
Strong leadership and managerial skills to build the team including creating the department, vision, talent development plans, and coaching strategies for team success
Strong enterprise awareness and alignment, including governance, planning, delivery, and change management processes for operating in an evolving environment
Tenacity and inclination to seek out and implement procedural / process improvements in maturing the department
Prior experience with core servicing platform IBS & ACBS/CLS, plus loan origination platforms such as nCino
Exceptional service acumen, written and verbal skills to influence and effectively communicate with multiple roles and levels within the organization
Competent with tools such as Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Salesforce
Natural disposition for learning, collaborative, adaptive/flexible

Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this role is $98,000 - $135,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
