About the Finext program

The Finext program is a highly ambitious Finance Transformation program that is the result of a self-assessments run by the global finance community jointly with feedback from business peers across the business. This ambitious program has received support from the Group Comex and is seen as a pivotal to both Pluxee Finance and the group as whole

🚀 Your next challenge

As Finext Program Director you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the global Finance transformation that includes the implementation of 40+ initiatives across 29 countries globally.

In this role you will help ensure that priorities are properly set, drumbeat is maintained, timelines are met and overall governance is adequately managed. You will support the initiatives sponsors and leaders to deliver on their initiatives objectives and timelines, advising them on how to accelerate and organize themselves, without hesitating to jump in temporarily next to them to provide more detailed guidance based on your experience and expertise as well as on Pluxee specific needs. You will ultimately serve as the face of the program to the Finance community and the global executive committee

Your role includes:

Oversight:  Acting as a right hand to the group CFO you will be responsible for ensuring that

  • All projects are progressing against plans
  • Intervening where necessary to help “unblock” projects
  • Providing support and advice to the teams on how to deliver on their initiative plan, securing timeline and quality in execution so that the global finance team can move up to its new paradigm as a standalone listed company
  • Identifying key decisions to be taken/made at group CFO level
  • Ensuring all key steering meetings are properly prepared and structured

Program development: 

  • You will leverage your deep financial expertise and transformation experience to support sponsors, leaders and their teams in steering and delivering on their projects with the right level of challenge and guidance
  • You will work with the group CFO and sponsors to identify and prioritize transformation initiatives, articulating interdependencies, proposing solutions to roadblocks and bottlenecks, being aware that the teams have to meet their day to day responsibilities and duties
  • You will oversee and ensure proper business case support all initiatives
  • You will ensure and help teams structure projects, related timelines and governance to assure the successful delivery of projects.

Leadership

  • You will serve as the face of the Finext transformation program and inspire teams to deliver
  • You will directly manage a dedicated team including PMO, Controller, Change Manager, Transversal project manager and lean/RPA project management team
  • Indirectly you will be responsible for coordinating Business Process owners and project managers to ensure alignment of ways of working.

Executive coordination

  • You will ensure that all Sponsors/finance leadership are fully coordinated across their topics identifying interdependencies, issues and risks to ensure that projects are properly sequenced and issues are discussed within the right level of the organization.

Inter departmental Coordination

  • You will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring alignment of all projects with non-finance departments ensuring the proper involvement of other functions in the planning, delivery and implementation of individual initiatives
  • You will coordinate closely with the global business transformation office to ensure alignment with other functions and provide the necessary visibility to track Finext initiatives at global COMEX level.

Project coordination

  • You will have responsibility for the teams’ ways of working establishing a common approach to project management, delivery and preparation of relevant group meetings.
  • You will work closely with IT/Data/PMO where applicable to ensure teams are operating in harmony and delivering against promised deadlines

Change Management

  • You will take responsibility for coordinating and establishing a common change management framework
  • Ensure program visibility including objectives, streams, related successes and progress are visible to the global finance and wider business community across the group.  For that purpose, with your team and in in coordination with Group internal communication, you will be responsible for the preparation and development of necessary material to be leveraged by you and/or the Group CFO depending on forums and circumstances.

Risk/issue management

  • With the help of your PMO you will track all issues and Risks across the program to ensure that they are properly managed
  • Define how and what issues must be escalated to the global Finext steerco or Group COMEX

Budget management/oversight

  • With the support of the Finext Controller you will track and secure the full cost of all Finext initiatives and initiate the annual budget planning for the Finext program.
  • You will identify any risks to the budget and work closely with the group CFO, IT transformation and sponsors to identify how gaps can be addressed and where appropriate ensure points of arbitration are escalated to the Steerco/Group CFO.
  • You will act as first port of call prior to engaging any external support to ensure that it can be supported by the budget or that other approaches leveraging internal resources are identified.

🌟 You’re a match

  • Chartered accountant or similar technical background in finance
  • Education requirements: Master’s degree in Finance from leading university (HEC, ESSEC, EDHEC) or related field.
  • 10+ years as CFO or group Controller or similar responsibilities in finance
  • 5+ years program management
  • Demonstrated experience in implementation of large-scale financial systems and processes
  • English and French fluent mandatory, Spanish and/or Portuguese will be a plus.
