JOB SUMMARY

You will be responsible for leading our engineering team, turning an MVP into a hardened, worldclass product. You have experience building an AI or Data product on the Azure platform. You will work with the Sales & Marketing team to identify new customer needs and define product features that can meet these needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Building and managing a worldclass product team

  • Integrating with Microsoft products like CoPilot and Fabric

  • Reviewing the application architecture for speed and performance improvements

  • Maintaining the askpolly roadmap, monitoring the market research landscape, and imagining new solutions to marketing problems

  • Budgeting and reporting spend

WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Microsoft cloud experience including Azure, CoPilot and Fabric

  • Competency Python and Javascript

  • Resident in Canada

  • Technology leader: You are a go-getter and self-starter who has no issue reaching out to technology vendors and learning new technology for the improvement of ASI.

  • Customer and People oriented: You are great with people and enjoy working with customers and team members to accomplish shared goals. You have experience listening to and interpreting customer needs, leveraging resources to solve their problems, and delivering end to end solutions.

  • Creative thinker and problem solver: You love finding innovative and creative solutions to solve customer problems and are no stranger to navigating challenges to get the job done.

  • Startup mindset: You enjoy the fast pace of the startup world and are interested in joining a small team that is working in a state of constant change and ambiguity. We need people who see open space and want to tackle it, not wait to be told what to do. We need drivers, not passengers.

EXPERIENCE

  • Built an AI or Data product on the Azure Cloud Platform

  • 6+ years engineering experience

  • College or university degree in an appropriate field

SKILLS

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with a small team and customers

  • Effective observation skills to effectively diagnose technology problems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and make independent decisions

  • Ability to think critically and be innovative
