About the role

The Vice President – EMEA Education GTM is responsible for growing our user and customer base across the region, with a focus on the Education sector.

You'll lead the EMEA business through change, integration and expansion, developing and implementing the regional strategy in partnership with the Group. You'll be accountable for growing our customer base, reducing churn and increasing market value, while keeping users at the center of our approach.

You'll also lead the regional team, setting clear priorities and ensuring people understand how their work contributes to the strategy and commercial goals.

The ideal candidate will be based in Northern Ireland, however, candidates located elsewhere in the UK will also be considered.

Main responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement the EMEA strategy to retain and grow our existing customer base and acquire new customers in line with our growth objectives.
  • Deliver commercial sales targets, ensuring individual and team quarterly and annual targets are clearly understood, tracked and managed.
  • Communicate the regional strategy across the business, ensuring employees understand the priorities and their contribution to delivering them.
  • Align organisational structures, priorities and targets around key SaaS measures, including Net Dollar Retention, Gross Dollar Retention, churn, Annual Recurring Revenue growth and Average Revenue Per Account.
  • Use data, forecasting and reporting to understand performance, identify areas requiring additional focus and improve the effectiveness of the sales organisation.
  • Hire and lead the regional team, setting clear expectations, managing performance and providing regular feedback against agreed objectives.
  • Own eNPS for the region and develop action plans to improve the employee experience.
  • Develop relationships with relevant government bodies, industry and sector associations, and other external stakeholders to support the business.
  • Maintain regional business continuity and disaster recovery plans, acting as the first point of contact for significant incidents and ensuring relevant colleagues are informed and engaged.
Essential criteria
  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience managing complex teams, with experience leading B2B sales in a SaaS business.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing commercial strategies that grow customer and revenue outcomes.
  • Experience leading organisational change or business transformation.
  • Experience using market intelligence, commercial metrics and data to inform strategy, forecasting and team performance.
  • Experience developing effective relationships with third-party partners and senior external stakeholders.
  • Experience engaging with relevant government or quasi-government bodies at local and national level.
  • Detailed understanding of the UK education software and assistive technology market.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with employees, senior leaders and relevant external audiences.
Desirable criteria
  • Experience in the Education sector.
  • Experience supporting pupils who experience difficulties with literacy and numeracy.
  • Experience leading through a merger or acquisition.
